Default Flat spot and sometime hesitates

Hi All

New to Mazda

we have a 68 reg Mazda 2 1.5 only picked it up two days ago but when driving I can feel the car has a flat spot in low gears and if you put your foot fast onto the accelerator it hesitates just for a split sec any ideas please.

Also the blue coolant light is on only when cold and the Revs are high but goes off after a few minutes is this normal on a Mazda 👍
thanks stay safe

68 Plate means absolutely nothing to anyone outside the UK.

What year and series is your car?

Blue light indicates the coolant is cold / cool. Once the engine warms up it will go out.

Is it not still inside the 3yr manufactures warranty? Where did you buy it? Private or car yard?

These engines are known for weak valve springs and excessive carbon build-up in the intake ports.
