Default Engine light

Hi brains trust,
I own a Mazda 2 dy 2006 model. Engine light indicator came on last few day. Is there a diy fix for this apart from having to send to mechanic?

My steering veers to the right slightly. Is this causing a fault?

Your help great appreciated.

Welcome to the forum

You need to first have your ECU checked for all DTC . This cn only be done with a scanning tool. Find a shop that can do this for you get the information and you can post back!

Steering issues are parts wheel alignment or tire wear separate from your Check Engine Light

Ive just ordered a Foxwell diagnostic scan tool hopefully it will identify faults.
