Just bought a Mazda 2 2015 we noticed when we got home when you open the driver's door it makes a continuous clicking/wiring sound it stops when you close the door and lock it also there's a car door lock flashing red on the dash is this normal

 

Whirring noise is not normal.

The flashing red light on the instrument cluster is normal, it shows the vehicle is immobilized.
