have a 99 demio 1.3 was running perfect to i parked it up charged battery yesterday it wouldnt start the red key wasnt coming up on dash then it did today and started as it should turn off wont start turning key on and off serveral times she will throw the key light on dash then i can start it again any ideas welcome

 

This is a model we don't have here in the United states. Do you have an alarm or theft deterrent system in it?

 

Sounds like it may be the transponder in the key. If you have a spare key try that and see if its the same.

 

do you by any chance have a user manual in pdf on the mazda demio 1999?
