Hi, to all.
I do have a 2002 V-6 Tribute with very little or no engine power, I have verify the spark plugs, have flown the injectors, looked in to the O2 sensors, MAF and there is no engine power and the rpms can hardly get to 3000 rpm in neutral.
The fuel pressuere is 60 psi and the fuel filter is new.
The vehicle can not be driven due to low rpms, and lack of power. Initially I thought it had problems with the spark plugs and or fuel injectors, and all look good.

Any reccomendation or suggestion will be appreciated.

Hi I would take a look at your exhaust system for blockage ,perhaps one
of the ' CATS'. Mine did the same thing, but it did have an engine light on
when it happened.

 

as they said above, check the catalytic convert.

my 05 lost engine power and wouldnt hold speed. no engine light came on, took it to aamco and found out it was my front cat. they told me 800 to fix, called the mazda dealer, was told 800 as well. after calling salvage yards to see if i could get a used one, i found out they wont sell them in florida used.

Napa online had 2. a universale for 149, which would need to be modified to fit, and a direct fit for 249. as of last night, on my way home from georgia, it wouldnt go over 20mph once i got off the interstate, which it was only going 50. needless to say, the part is ordered and will be here.
