Default tranny service with 135kmi?

Hello! i have an 01 trib that i just purchased. i am experiencing some "shudder" when it shifts into 4th gear(or overdrive?), especially when cold. i've read on the net that there is a pcm flash update to help with this, and i will be looking into that. but the question i have is: should i have it flushed at the dealer, or just drain and fill myself? since i don't know the service history of the vehicle, i'm not sure whats been done. i've heard both sides, flush, or no flush, for other vehicles, but i don't know anything about mazda. it was also mentioned to me from a good mechanic that lucas tranny additive is a good thing. but i prefer to hear it from someone who has actually tried it in a trib. sorry so long winded

A shudder issue that I have encountered in the past was rectified with a transmission fluid replacement. The owners manual gives the schedule.

I am not a fan of additives. Go with the proper fluid that has been tested to match the transmission requirements.
