Default trailer lights

I purchased a hitch and trailer light wiring for my 2001 Tribute. However, the lights are not working. I've traced the problem to no voltage in the fuse box under the steering wheel. What powers the fuse box for trailer lights?

Check your owner's manual for the fuse box layout. I put an after market hitch on my Tribute and tapped into left side tail assembly with the harness. I keep the harness and connector neatly tucked in the trunk area rather than outside with the elements. It's a flat cable so I have no crimp issues when I use it.
