Towing with 4 cyl., 5 speed
This may be ridiculous to ask, but I will...
I stopped by the local Mazda dealer this week and they had 5 leftover 2006 Tributes, all AWD 5-speed 2.3 4-cylinders. I test drove one....slow, but not terrible.
Here's the question - They are rated to tow 1500 lbs, which is about what I need, but my trailer is an enclosed 8-foot wide snowmobile trailer which produces a lot of wind resistance. I am wondering how well the 4 cylinder manual can tow??? Would the trailer in question overwhelm the 4 cylinder?
