Roof Rack Tracks
My friend with the 2003 Tribute had Yakima 78" bars with Yakima Lowriders, http://www.yakima.com/racks/rack-sys.../lowrider.aspx
These worked okay, but the spread between bars was only 40". He just got a 20' surf ski kayak and this was not as steady as he wanted. So we got 54" tracks for his roof, http://www.yakima.com/racks/rack-sys...27/tracks.aspx
This gave much better support of the kayak. His rack is set up with 2 1/2 yakima TLC saddles, one hully roller and gunwale brackets on the passenger side on either side of the right TLC saddles.
