have a 01 v6 lx tribute and need to change the sending unit...is there a way to do this without taking the ac compressor off? cant seem to get my hands in there to do it and really dont want to have to remove the compressor because of the serp belt. Thank you in advance

 

You just need a socket/extension/wobble to replace it.

 

The belt is easy enough to get on & off. Also you can unbolt the air con pump & move it sideways with degassing it.
