I currently use Mobil 1 synthetic oil, and Fram Extended Guard oil filters in my 2004 Tribute, 3.0L, 4WD, and change oil and filter at 7,000 miles.

Couple of questions for you guys:
1. Can I increase the oild change intervals to 10,000 mi?
2. Is the Fram extended guard filter a decent filter?
3. How about Amsoil; I read on the net thatyou can extend oil changes to about 25,000 mi?

Your insight will be appreciated.
