Hi! I recently bought a used Mazda Tribute 2006 about 5 months ago and a few weeks ago my engine started chugging when I was driving on the highway. My dad is a retired mechanic and he said there was an issue with the PCM and he bought a new one and replaced it. After he replaced it we tried to program the new keys with the PCM and it wouldn’t start. We contacted the company we bought it from, followed their directions but it still wouldn’t start. Before we replaced the PCM the car would start so we don’t know what happened. We also tried putting back in the old PCM and it didn’t start. Please help me! (Im not knowledgeable about car parts so i might be using wrong terminology, but this is what I was told.)
