Default lether seats in 2.0 Tribute 2001 possible?

My wife is not comfortable on the standard seats in our 2 liter 2001 tribute. The leather seats from the 3 liter version look much better. Does anyone know if these seats fit in the 2 liter, including the electric part?

Default leather seats

Can't see why not, but you'd have to install some rocker switches and attach the wiring for the heating element, assuming you want the heated function.
The seats you refer to are from the ES model. Engine size is not the differing factor (the V6 LX does not have leather seats).
You may get lucky find a pair in good shape in a local junkyard, assuming they were taken care of over the years (leather conditioner applied to resist drying and cracking).
Best to check into the side airbag situation - may be important. My 2002 LX has side airbags, so perhaps the 2001 ES had them in the leather seats. I doubt the 4 cyl (base model) had side airbags. I would be quite surprised if so, but they are std on everything these days.
Good luck, Mark

Thanks for the advise. I'll start looking for a good looking set of lether seats.
