The other day I tried to put the key in my car and it wouldn't go. Fiddled, jiggled, finally tapped and something in there broke. The key would go in but no way was it going to turn. Drilled out the wafers, turned to on position, removed the ignition lock. Bought a new one, paid a locksmith to rekey to my keys, popped it in, all looks good EXCEPT I can't turn the key far enough to engage the starter motor. Removed, all works fine with a screwdriver.
