This is for general extra amp installation: You need really thick power wire if you go more than 10 feet. If you go with an extra battery you will need an isolator.
You must not only ground your amp, but add another ground wire to the body near the front of your main battery from the negative terminal of the battery. I suggest also adding a ground to engine from negative terminal of battery.
Sorry, if you know this already, but alot of people don't. I knew of a guy that didn't add an extra ground wire to battery and fried his stock ground wire!

your setup looks good and really clean! where did you put your amp? is that just on the floor behind the front seat? I just have one 15" sub that im going to use and just mount it in a ported box in the back but im debating if i should just put the amp right next to it.

Also you put your power line through the firewall correct? My car is a few states away right now so i cant really look at it right now!

Yes power wire thru firewall. Rubber grommet or silicone needed there.
I put power amp behind front seat as when it was at the back of car, i lost bass response because power wire was too long. It is 4 gauage. Anything longer than 10-12 feet, you need thicker than 4 gauge.

I actually installed a cooling fan as well as a top to hide amp. No one ever sits in back. Cooling fan has an extra switch so i can turn it off in winter. When switch is on, it actually turns on and off automatically with stereo. 12 volt cooling fans easy to buy at surplus places, hardware stores.
Top is just carpeted plywood---top is held up in place by attached cooling fan and wood at other end. In summer you need cooling fan because in car temps can be very high.
