Ok so my mother has a 03 tribute i think, and she is on her third fuel pump in 3 months. I am a chevy guy myself and have an extremely limited knowledge or the tribute, however from an overall car knowledge I know this is crap. The car wont start at times, and the mechanic says its the fuel pump. The starter engages and such and it just cranks, I thought maybe the plugs would be the issue, but again Im not sure. Anyone out there had a similar problem with this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 

if it is going through fuel pumps at that rate, it is the regulator for sure.
