Default B2200 A/C won't shut off!

Thanks to all who helped. After lots of work I traced the vibration to the Transmission mount! That's fixed, but (another prob[]) my A/C would not turn on. Took it to a mechanic. They said it was just a fuse (No it wasn't[:@]). Now after whatever they did, it is on, but won't shut off. After 20 minutes or so things get so cold that the air controls stop working. I can only turn it off by removing the fuse. When on, if I try to change the airflow I end up with none. It stops blowing. Once the truck is shut down, things heat up and the A/C willwork again. The A/C switch does nothing and the light no longer functions. If it matters, in addition to whatever else they did [:@]my Tach nolonger works. I wonder ifthe circuits may be related? Obviously I have plenty of freon...but I can't regulate the A/C. It's all or none. Is there a thermostat in the system or integral to the A/C switch? How do I remove the switch (remove Dash?) My Haynes book is worthless! I'll try any advice from anybody. If you have even a vauge idea please post it. I need all the help I can get on this one. [8D]John-Montana
