I just bought a 04 tribute and the whole shock tower in right rear is gone along with the absorber its self just seeing if anyone has repaired it and how I was thinking since the frame is right there just weld/bolt a mount off of it with an angle at the top turn outward tward the wheel and make a eye for the top of the shock bolt and busshings for just a temp job, patch the hole around it the,the idea sounds dumb but when you look at it as just trying to get by, I think it will work if I can make the mount up

well its my only car and just got it so I gotta do something about it cant afford to have it done right so in my eyes fixing it so it has a shock is much more safer than not so I will be fixing it so I can be on the road again
