Hi,

I have a 2003 Mazda Tribiute 3.0v6. if I start the car the Engine is idle perfect after a short while if the Engine get warm the engine lose all power. I can step on the accelerator pedal and the rpm goes not up and the Car is not moving and the Engine is running very rough sound like only 3 Cylinders are working.

I replaced sparkplugs coils injectors fuelfilter airfilter everything. I hook up a scanner and get follow code P2179. I don't have a vaccum leak that I checked already. the O2 Sensors should not make this trouble if they would be damaged.

had someone here an idea what can cause this Problems???

O2 sensors, MAF, air leaks.

Why do you rule out the O2 sensor? Clearly the bank 2 O2 sensor could cause this

 

I would be inspecting the catalytic convertors for deterioration &/or blockages.

 

the Catalyst was clocked the whole ceramic was meld. the o2 sensor was damaged. all is new but still have the same problem. the engine starts with hard misfiring and shut down if the cooling fan comes on.

I have no idea why? the Altenator is new and charge with 13.8V
