It's my wife's car. It has gotten progressively harder to start over the last few years. You have to push the key in all the way, hard, to get it to start. Anyone else have this issue? Is it typically the ignition cylinder that needs replacing?

 

Yes...I have this problem. We are living with it for now. I have learned that I need to PUSH IN FIRST then turn the key. It will not work if I turn the key first.

We laugh sometimes thinking how the common criminal would not be able to get this car started.
