Default 2006 Tribute brake judder

Hi All,

I recently noticed that our 06 tribute judders or shakes when braking. Its almost as if the brakes are pulsing hard then soft, then hard again.

I thought it could be the front rotors being too thin and slightly warped. I checked them and they are around 25mm in thickness, but there's no stamp for the minimum. Does anyone know what this is? They've done 40k miles, so they are probably about done.

Any other suggestions for the cause of this brake judder would be very much appreciated.

Thanks.

I note a mild case with my new 'bute. My '03 Saturn L300 did it worse.
