So my tranny works perfectly then after 10 miles or so it is done, It wont move at all. Then let it sit for few minutes and it works fine again. any ideas? maybe neutral safety switch?

I had a problem which pointed to the neutral safety switch. The car would drive fine for about 10 minutes, then the transmission would start to slip. The check engine light code indicated the neutral safety switch

 

so did u replace it and did it fix it? I don't have the check engine light but

 

yes, I replaced it and it resolved the problem. The part was $44 at Autozone. The part is located near the battery and under some radiator hoses. I removed the battery and the battery mount so I would have easier access. I also removed 2 radiator hoses but in hindsight I don't think that was necessary. Its held on with only 2 bolts, but one was hard to get to. It took about 75 minutes for me to replace it, and I am a marginal shade tree mechanic.

 

cool, its been sitting but the neutral safety was my next move. Now I have more insentive to swap it out... thanks
