Default 2005 Tribute brake bleeder screw size

Greetings all, long time lurker...

Can anyone tell me which brake bleeder screw I need to replace a stripped screw bolt, please? It appeared to need a 3/8 wrench, but whoever bled it awhile ago stripped it round...

Thanks in advance...

I don't know where Mazda sourced their callipers from, but yes, you need a 3/8th spanner for a metric vehicle. 10mm with round it off & 9mm is too small.

I'm blaming FORD.

All my imperial spanners live in the bottom draw of my tool box, except the 3/8th which lives with my brake pipe/ flanged flare nut spanners.

Agreed, it is strange...but I am more worried right now about what the thread size is at the other end for the size of the nipple? Anyone know?

By the by, on my Ford F150, every nut so far is metric! 15mm for top of strut tower, 19mm for lug nuts, etc...
