Default 2002 Tribute - effects of steam clean

My 2002 Tribute was running normally until engine was steam cleaned - Now starts and idles but has no power acceleration results in air flow roarr - suggestions please!

Look for any damaged/cracked/leaking hoses. Also possible water/moisture down the spark plug tubes.

This could be out there, but "no power acceleration" could just be the old 'cat puked its guts and plugged the intermediate'. Ask me how I know. I was thinking it a remote possibility if the 'steam' was in fact still cool enough to shock the cat into violence to its insides. If the MIL is lit, then post the codes.

Even the worse engine cleaning....let it set in the sun with the hood open a day maybe a couple days/ Something just got wet that was not considered to cover during the engine wash.
