i recently purchased a 2001 mazda tribute, when i took it for a test drive it drover perfectly fine! but when i got it home the same day, it started acting up. it stutters when its at 50mph, and it shut off on me in a parking lot. also, when im at a red light it chugs like it wants to shut off again! i went to go get the codes read because my engine light was on constantly. it said i am having trouble with my troubleshooting. this could be my EGR valve, a egr passage way, or an egr sensor and what not. should i buy in EGR valve? other than that the car is GREAT! it has 92K miles on it, please help. i am a college student and i need a ride to go back and forth and i do not want to get stranded

 

I have a 2003 tribute that i bought saturday and my did fine just like urs untill i got home with mine...i took mine back to the lot today and they replaced the coil on mine and it seems to be running like it should. Mine did everything urs did.
