Sometimes when accelerating from a dead stop there is a single clunk noise. This is becoming more frequent. I jacked the car and in turning wheels there is an 8 to 10 degree slack in rotation then some noise in tranny. Is this slack normal. Any diagnostic tips to isolate problem to trans or drive axle would be appreciated
