Hello everyone, I am considering buying a 2003 year RX-8 SP23 Limited Edition 280BHP (japanese import).

I am interested in getting some feedback on what this version of the RX is like...any input at all would be appreciated!

For instance, I know the RX-8 is famous for being a "guzzler" as far as fuel and oil is concerned...would that mean that the 280bhp would consume EVEN more? If so, is it noticable?

MAY I SPEAK FOR EVERYONE WHEN I SAY ( WE NEED PICS ) !!!!!!!!! LOL I THINK IF YOU BUY A CAR LIKE THAT GAS MILAGE IS LOW ON THE LIST OF CONSERNS.

 

yea i wanna see pics of this Rx8 but yea it most likely gonna guzzel gas more than the regular 8's

 

i can't find a mention of that model except for the Mazda3... there is a model RX8 231 PS which from the pricing appears to be British... are you sure of the model designation? unless its a Shinka version Japanese model I can't find a mention of it anywhere, plus I can't find any mention of a factory release RX-8 with 280 hp., a factory release like that would be like free beer at a frat party.

mazda won"t let that car be imported in THE united states, three reason the steering wheel is on the right side , no emission, and it would be a hell of and charge for you to ship, andwould get sometrouble from the U.A.W BOYs..it would be like a small block v-8 would cost as much as a Vette would not make it in this market...
