Default Plastic undercarrage protector

I have a 2004 RX-8, I recently ran over a large tire tred and it tore apart my plastic undercarrage protector that is directly under the radiator. I cut all the remaining plastic off because it was dragging on the ground. I cannot find the part anywhere nor do I know the proper name for it. I definitly want to replace it because I do allot of driving on not so perfect roads. Does anyone know:

what the average price of it is

what the real name of it

where I can order one from online in the north east

and if its simple to install for someone who is not very handy with cars.

Thank you for any help

Don't know, except it might be part of the shroud.

Sorry to hear about the damage. That sounds like the vehicle undertray that you are referring to. It may be best to stop by a Mazda dealership and show them what part you need and they should be able to find it in their database.

I am not sure what the cost would be but I cant imagine a piece of plastic being too much. These are usually secured with pop clips and bolts. If the undertray was really damaged you may want to order a few pop clips, the bolts should still be intact.

It should be easy to install, just match up the location of the remainder of the old one.

Good luck, let us kow how it goes!
