Morning guys,

i need sone help, I have just been driving my rx8 down a dual carriageway going through the gears in the normal way.

i got to about 6,000 revs in 4th gear when there was some power loss and white smoke started coming out of the exhaust with the engine light flashing.

can somebody please advise on what this could possibly be?

Vehicle been standing for about an hour and a half now and I feel everything is still to hot to check.

but oil was topped up only a week ago and coolant was about half full last time It was driven which was the same time.
