Hello, I know engine swapping would be a shame for the rx8 cause my friends tell me “rotary stays rotary” but I’m getting into cars and I really like the style of the rx8 but I was wondering if I could swap the engine for something better. I seen Ls swaps on YouTube but is it possible to just use any v8 to swap the engine with? Or does it have to be a specific engine?

my only question to you would be, would any engine fit into it? Or is there a way I could find out if a certain engine is compatible with the car? Like I don’t want to sound stupid lol but can I put a Toyota v8 engine into there? 😂
