I was on vacation 11/25-11/28(today). My low fuel light was on. I left my car outside the entire time. The weather is icy here(came through last night). I started my car to go to the gas station to head home and my engine stopped. Had a ride to the gas station and put in 5 gallons of gas in. I can hear the clicking of the starter but it won't turn over. Check engine light, steering wheel light with a ! Next to it, and the battery light are on now. My car was completely fine before I left. Had a new battery placed in September 2014. Tried jumping it(if it was the battery). Any idea what is going on?

 

You could try tapping the starter motor with the tyre iron. Could be dying brushes or solenoid.
