ive found an 04 rx8 that i like at a good price but isnt that the first year they came out with the rx8 the one im looking at has 38,000mi on it are there any near problems i should be concerened about i found there were four recalls that year 1. air bags front 2. manula trans 3. engin and engin cooling 4. front lower ball joint are there any other concerns i should have going into this purchase? thanks to who ever responds for your help

 

I would check to see if there are any outstanding recalls that need to be done. Also, Mazda has just changed their warranty on the RX8 to 100k, so you should be good.

 

if i wanted that 100k warrenty i would have to buy brand new right my pockets arent quiet deep enough for that im afraid thank you for the tips the 04 i was looking at already got sold o well my serch continues id like to find one a little newer anyway maby an 05 or 06 something good will turn up this time im gonna pounce on it a little faster im wanting one pretty bad

 

No, the warranty applies to all 04-08 RX8s.
