Is it worth it?

Is it worth it?
I have had 5 Rx-7s. My last is an 86. In 2006, I was going to buy a Nissan 350Z because Mazda no longer made a "real" Rx-7. My wife talked me into buying an SUV instead. Now, 3 years later, I find I cannot trade for the Nissan 370Z because I am still "upside down" in the SUV. That got me thinking about my 86 Rx-7. It has about 120,000 miles on it. The seats are ripped, the paint faded, and there is some rust around one wheel well. Mechanically it is fine. I babied it all this time with oil changes every 3000 miles. At my age and stage in life, I am wondering if it is worth it to simply restore this car and forget new one. What I like are two-seater sports cars that handle like they are on rail road tracks. They don't have to be the fastest, just handle. When new, this car always handled that way. What say you all and thanks for any opinions.

Mazmart Trini
Thanks. I took very good care of her as far as maintenance. I babied her as well. The driver's seat is bad and the passenger one has some tears on the side. Mostly splits. I was thinking of having them redone stock (blue) or going with an after market one that fits well. What do you think? And yes, the plastic leading to the clock is cracked and so is the plastic console in the middle. Can you recommend after market, Mazda or not, replacement parts? Thanks in advance.
