Default will it fit?

will the 20B fit into an 88 non turbo rx7, and if so will anything special need to be done for it? and are there any better places to find the 20B than ebay?

It will fit. A # of people have done the swap. It is a costly venture though. I would search some other Forums to see what is all involved.

i did some research and im thinken about ordering one the cheapest i could find was 3900 but it would be a near unbeatable swap the only thing with engine swaps is you lose your near perfect weight distrupution

a 20B engine would fit into any gen. RX7 but there is also the problem about engine wieght....

It physically fits. However, it requires a ton of custom modification - such as ECU, twins control (or go single), sway bar, mounts, etc...

To do this drop corectly and safly your looking at around 30k. Don't forget once you get the engion your ganna want to rebuld it. You need to do custum engion mounts for it. You'll need the wireing harness off of the cosmo, or you can do you own standalone fule managment system. 20B's are twin turbo, but that's not the most relably system so are you going to upgrade it, maybe switch to a single turbo. Just realy think about all the cost involed in it.
