Hi, I am new to this forum and have a new project to work on so I hope I find successful help here.

I recently inhereted a 1981 RX-7, one of which I have known since the day it was new. My mothers best friend bought it new, and I told her I wanted first crack at it if she ever decided to get rid of it. Well I picked her up about two weeks ago, she gave it to me. The car sat about 6 years, started semi-frequently up to about a month ago. Nothing there when the key was turned. Mice had gotten into the auto by chewing the wiring harness where it enters the firewall. I guess I need not say more about that. I have since removed the harness and now I am looking for a replacement in which I have listed in the classifieds section of this forum.

I still currently own a 1996 Mazda MX-6 M-Edition w/56K on her, and she still looks and drives like a dream. I drive it once about every three weeks or so, my daily commute is an 03' Kawasaki Concours. My entire family owns at least one Mazda, if not more.

Just from what I have read so far, I feel I will enjoy being part of this forum. I hope to be able to offer advice, assistance, etc. as most of you do.
