I took my Vert 7 to my friends Interior and Vert Top Shop. He gave me a great deal on a Porsche Canvas Top for my 7 for $1200. when i was done i was at $1500 including install and the part that was rotted out. if you are going with a vinyl top, i've seen them for $650 to $800. Have any pix of your vert?

Here are pix of mine

it's most likely flooded, pop the hoood and look for the fusebox on the driver's side and remove the "ENG INJ" and "ENG COMP" fuses, crank it for 5 to 10 seconds then replace the fuses and crank again. If that doesn't work remove your spark plugs and crank, then put some ATF fluid or oil in the spark plug holes, replace spark plugs, and crank. It should come to life but there will be a ton of smoke so if you take the latter route, prepare for your car to look like it's broken but I assure you the smoke is fine and running for a few minutes should clear her up.
