Fair price for 1985 Rx7
I have a 1985 RX7 GS with about 65,000 miles. The body is in good shape except for a little rust on the sunroof.and a couple of dings on the paint. The interior is in good shape, except for the stereo bezel is cracked. I love this car, and have been driving it only in the summers for about 10 years, but it's time to sell. What would be a fair price to list this car? Thanks

list it at 3500, but i wouldn't take anything less than 3k for it. all of the damage that you described is completely normal and extremely common. that combined with the low mileage would be a good deal at 3k. i just paid 3700 for my turbo II with 77k on the clock.

RE: Fair price for 1985 Rx7
i hate to tell you this, but with a car that old that very many people know nothing about, its gonna be hard to get over a thousand dollars for it, you should list it around 2k, but if you get an offer over 12, or 15 hundred dollars, you should sell, no matter what the mileage is, its too old and unknown for any good price, if you find a new sunroof, that would help the price, maybe glue the stereo bezel back together, and if you feel ambitious, fix the dings in the paint, that would all help to bring the price up, though it most likely wouldnt really justify the cost...
