whastup! when i start my car up in the morning or after its been sittin for a while my idle bounces, now im use to that and figured its just like a warming up procedure. but lately my car has had a boucning idle throughout my hole trip...whats goin on, it sounds like ***...also my idle sits at 1500 when not in gear and 1000 when it is, is this normal...doesnt sound like it

 

Check your TPS, it might be out of spec.

 

When was the last time you did a spark plug and plug wires change? Have you checked the gap on your spark plugs? Those would be my first two thoughts. After that maybe a fuel pump. That is if you have crossed off the electrical/ computer stuff. Or water in the fuel. THose are the mechanical systems that bounce RPMs.

 

Spark Plugs on a Rotary cannot be gapped. THey come from the manufacturer already pregapped.
