Default About Rotary Engine?

Hi all im new here.... and was wondering if rotary engine has problems and is it hard to fix... Cause i own a RX7 1986.. putting in a 13b turbo and was wondering if its gonna be a big difference.. because my rx7 i own wasn't a turbo... so help me... please...

rotaries that are low milage and taken care of rarely have problems. The engine is only as good as it's owner. if you keep the thing oiled and the engine was broken in correctly the first 1000 miles, it can last till about 160k miles for the turbocharged engine. try and get one as new as possible with as much matenance records as possible. Matenance is the same, check oil every 3 times you fill up on gas and keep it full. Stay on top of coolanty levels. Performance wise the turbo is a big difference from the N/A.

Mke sure you get the computer for a turbo II and the wiring harness because they are different.

the only disadvantages of rotary engines are their heat and their emissions...other than that they are powerful, limitless engines...
for the swa[, your gonna need a new turbo exhaust, an oil cooler for that turbo, and also a turbo timer...
