looking to buy a 1987 RX7 but it needs a apex seal... tried looking it up online and couldnt get a str8 answer on how to fix it and how much it would cost ??? does anyone here know where i can find to fix this problem on the car and see if it would be worth my time... ( and yes i got alot of time on my hands so please) and a price on how much it cost... and do i have to pull the motor out to replace this seal ???

 

Generally it would need an engine. The problem is if the housing got scarred as it would need to be cut and the housing is oval and requires specialized equipment to do so.
