When at higher rpms my cars lights,all of them, get super bright and the transmission seems to get confused when this happens, please help with this. My wife acts like it's all normal and I don't want her to f the car up. Someone tell me what to look at first please.

 

Check the voltage from the alternator at idle & high RPM. Could be a faulty / failing alternator.
