just had a couple of questions I have a 92 protege that will not go in reverse , we got the car from auction and when we looked it would not go into any gear, was stuck in park. the little release switch thing was stuck also well during our tampering with it we ended up having to pretty much break it and move the lever that the switch controlled out of the way. if someone could get me the name of this part that would help bunches, also was wondering if that could be whats not letting the car go into reverse.
