we have to add into the equation that some people think that just because something is more expensive its better. we might agree that it all depends in how we treat our equipment. me? im good with conventional oils. lets complicate matters a bit. do a cylinder compression test, dry and wet. then remove your oil pan and look for sediments in it. those 2 actions will give you an idea of your specific situation and what would be the best course of action to take to protect your baby´s engine. if you guys are still reading this, dont miss the link useyournoggin posted.

Your making me nervous Jaunky because I don't know what my last owner did to the car, but I've been using Mobil 1 High Mileage Synthetic Blend. What do you recommend I have 16x,xxx on the odometer.

no problem. you are the owner now. just do what you feel confortable with. if you are getting good results you are doing good. if your engine is happy, then you must be doing good.
