New to the forum... Anyways my wife's car is a 98 (Protege obviously.). In the last 2 weeks the check engine light has come on.. I bought a code reader and got code P0170 which in book says fuel trim malfunction bank 1 and in the program that came with it the codes says fuel air metering.. The books says program tells a bit more cause it asks for vechile info.. I reset it last week and it came back on after a week or so.. What is the issue ? Thank you

 

probably one of those crazy o2 sensor codes. bank one would be the first sensor i think

 

really ? cause my neon is having an O2 issue and code that comes up says its something to dp with the O2..
