I have a 1997 Protege 1.8L LX (I think my 1.8 in canada is LX). as ABS light on and it is a 10 years old car, I plan to drive couple more years, so I don't want to spend more money on it. Someone said to turn off ABS function completly is just to pull out the ABS relay.

1. If so, can someone please postthe diagram to see where exactly I can turn off my ABS function completely.
2. how to turn off the ABS light on dashboard as well ?
