stuck in 4th

stuck in 4th
Hey i have a 2002 turbo charged protege and i was driving and when i was shifting from third to fouth it didn't go in right and know the car is stuck in 4th. Car can be in nuetral and it's still in 4th. Does anyone know what could be wrong. The linkage is good.
