Default Strange Screeching/Chirping Sound on Acceleration

I just bought a used 2000 Mazda Protege from a dealer a couple days ago.

It was certified preowned, had a clean history, passed inspection, everything else.

Yesterday it started making a strange sound though.

When I accelerate past 30-35-40mph or so, it will begin making a low-pitched screeching noise with acceleration.

With the windows up, it's hard to hear, and sounds sort of like crickets chirping.

With the windows down, it sounds like driving with the emergency brake still on.

I can't pinpoint exactly where it's coming from though.

It doesn't sound like it's coming from the wheels.

Maybe a belt?

What do you guys think?

sounds like it may possibly be a loose heat shield on the exhaust or a loose belt. but prob something with the exhast.
