I have a 1.6L 2000 Dx protege...i would like a SRI for it but all i can find is a SRI for a 1.8L engine...will i run into problems if i install the SRI on my car (ex. problems fitting in the engine compartment?)

 

the engine compartment should be the same for the two, so that shouldn't be an issue. the main issue will be the mounting points. since it is a sri instead of a cai, you shouldn't have any issues with that. if anything, you should just have to shave an inch or two off of it.
