Default Protege02 LX Audio Problem

Hello All,
I own Mazda Protege02 LX. The audio system is having problem with the sound while I am driving sometimes appears and at times disappears.. I think there is a loose wire causing the problem (since
i noticed when i drive over bump in the road the sound comes up or disappears).
Has anyone seen the problem?
Is it possible to fix by taking out the audio system on the front panel and check the wiring?

Please Help!

Thanks very much

Is it just up front?

I mean its seems like you know what your problem is. I am not too famiuar with your modle but I would check the speaker wires in the doors and just try to follow them up to the head unit.

Is your system stock or is it after market?

Check the rear speaker wires. In particular the bare copper wires that go from the speaker connector to the cone itself. The plastic connector often gets broken off of the speaker where it is glued on when loading a large object or stuffing the trunk. If just one of those bare copper wires from white plastic connector to the cone grounds out on the metal speaker chassis then you will loose all sound from stereo.
