Default protege no start!

Our 99 Protege 1.8 shook violently on the way home from work the other day then quit and we costed to a stop. Car was towed home and this is what I know so far.CEL codes 1345 and 420. 420 has been up for a while though. I looked up the 1345 on the web and it indicated it was a cam or crank sensor. I have replaced both to no avail.I replaced the plugs because they were wet with gas. I am pretty sure it is not getting spark, otherwise it should fire up since it is getting gas. Hard to imagine both coils quit at the same time.
All fuses checked out fine too.
Any ideas? Could this be a case of a bad PCM? Thanks for the help. Tim

Discovered the problem yesterday. The timing belt is loose, so I can only assume the tensioner spring broke. Is this an interference engine? I'm wondering if the valves contacted the pistons?

i doubt it but check your spark plugs to see if there all messed up cause if your spark plugs are fine the the piston shouldn't have hit the valve

I reassembled it last night but ran out of time and didn't get to start it. I will today. I replaced everything. It has a new belt, tensioner, idler, spring and water pump as well as both accessory belts. I was meticulous with lining everything up after getting the #1 piston to TDC. After several rotations all the marks continued to line up perfectly. Setting the tension on the belt slowed me down because I was measuring the deflection of the belt between the cams and it was way more than spec, which I think was .38-.45", so I inserted an allen-head wrench into the tensioner and carefully applied pressure to the belt until the deflection was in spec, then I torqued the tensioner bolt down. I'm confident it will fire on the first crank. I'll let you know how it goes.

Finished assembly today. Car started on the first crank! No noises or unusual sounds. Been driving it all day today, put at least 30 miles on it so far. Mission accomplished!
